DNS filtering is part of One, Family, Shield and Business Premium. Open the DNS app from the app menu. On Family it is part of InfoPeak Family.
Profiles
Create a profile for each person or device and choose its filters. On Family you can also turn on parental controls for a child's profile. Each profile has its own address, shown under the setup tab.
Set up a device
- Android: Settings → Network & internet → Private DNS → enter the profile's DoT address.
- iPhone, iPad and Mac: pick the profile and download the settings file. Install it under Settings (iPhone) or System Settings → General → Device Management (Mac).
- Windows 11: Settings → Network & internet → your connection → DNS → Manual → DNS over HTTPS → enter the profile's DoH address.
- Browser: in Firefox, Chrome or Edge, turn on secure DNS and enter the profile's DoH address.
- Router: routers with DNS-over-TLS, such as OPNsense, pfSense and OpenWrt, can use the DoT address.
With InfoPeak VPN turned on, filtering works automatically. Queries are kept for 24 hours, then deleted.
